ABOUT THE PASTOR

Kenneth J. Haggstrom was born in Roieres-en-haye, France where his father was stationed during his service in the U.S. military. By the age of 9 years old his family had moved to various locations in Europe and the United States including Germany, California and Virginia settling in the Austin, Texas area. At the age of 23 Kenneth, his wife and two small children visited a small but thriving Pentecostal church in Georgetown, Texas pastored by Rev. Henry S. Davis, and later by Rev. Robert Condrey. The experience that followed as a result of that initial visit is not unlike that of thousands of people in the Book of Acts as they were all filled with the Holy Ghost and baptized in the only saving name of Jesus Christ. While in service for the Lord in that same church, God began to deal with Bro. Haggstrom's heart to fulfill his call to the ministry and to preach the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ.

Rev. Haggstrom has been trained "on the job" in many facets of the ministry and by the anointed leadership of Rev's Davis and Condrey. He has augmented his ministerial training through classes sponsored by Texas Bible College.

In December 2001, Rev. Haggstrom and his family began having services in the city of Florence, Texas with the vision of reaching a growing community with the gospel of Jesus Christ and planting a church that could reach many souls in this rural area near the Williamson, Bell, and Burnet county lines.

Since the very first service at Victory Tabernacle UPC there has been a powerful move of God as people have begun their new walk with God having a new joy and new hope.
